power disk brakes booster - 02/20/18 01:03 AM

My brake pedal is hard, but no brakes. This is a power breaker booster failure? If so how to I test to confirm and who is the best to rebuild it?
The car is a 71 cuda 340
Thanks

Did this just happen to a working system or is it a new installation?

split the booster/MC & pull MC forward enough to eyeball the pushrod. eng idling. have a helper press the pedal. You under the hood see if the round nub threaded pushrod moves out/forward like it should. I'm thinking the booster (possibly the check valve).

Any additional input?
If the booster is bad who rebuilds them or sells replacements.
Thanks

Dewey Boosters - I think he is in Oregon.

However make sure you don't have a vacuum leak first.
