GOOD AFTERMARKET EVAPS - 12/30/17 05:13 PM
I need to replace the blower motor in our 97 Dakota, and yes, the evap is bad, and I'd like to replace it while they're in there. What's a good aftermarket replacement, if any.
Thanks.

Rock auto lists 3 aftermarkets brands all under $40. I dont have a recommendation. But an OEM is $114 from this supplier:

My honest opinion.
Buy an OEM . Or one of Mopars Value Line replacements.
Its a job I REALLY would rather not do a 2nd time because I went cheap

When I did the one in my Durango, I spray painted it. I think that the aluminum developed pin holes from it sitting in water around the foam that held it in. Don't think it affected the performance of it, but I never did have real good heating or cooling in that vehicle.
