For my bone stock '69 340 Dart. This past summer, I bought the RAM-88766 clutch kit from Summit. It is essentially a factory OEM B&B style replacement clutch.
It has worked out great for me and at $199 it was also a good deal.

Go to a Center Force dual friction. You will never go back to stock type.My built 440s has been in at least 15 years.raced and street.Still great and nice light pedal.Rocky

FT Wayne Clutch. The best in the business. Fort Wayne IN. I can personally vouch for the great customer service, and their clutches are superior to any of the box clutch kits you can buy. That includes centerforce.

The original poster also asked about a flywheel, something I'm also interested in. Who has decent prices on steel (not cast iron) 10.5" flywheels?

iagree X 2

I have a full cruising season on my first Centerforce clutch and I am impressed with the great holding power and light pedal pressure.
I'm actually using a Centerforce II plate and a Mcleod 500 series disc and it has zero chatter and smooth engagement.

If you were in Canada i'd say i've got a brand new McLeod 10.5" 130 tooth lightweight steel SFI (22lb) flywheel for sale. Not sure it's worth going over a border though.

Thanks everyone for the good info. If i go with a Centerforce style diaphragm clutch, do i have to take the large clutch pedal spring out?
