i was just told that i should use mobil 1 synthetic 5w30 for transmission fluid. Is this a good idea

I've run synthetic ATF-4 in my 03 R/T due to the cold temps in winter. Check your owners manual, I'm not sure the Mobil 1 engine oil would be correct. These trans don't have the clash problems the old A833 had witb synth, synchros designed for it!
