shifter mount ?

i was told that this shifter set up is to put a 60's 833 in a 71 up b body with a bench seat.can anyone chime in?i'm not familar with this mount and couldn't find it on brewers.thanks for any info.

Don't know but I can tell you one thing, the reverse rod should be on the bottom... scope

That's home made. The factory unit was one pice casting.

idk.it looks like it was a manufactured mount for something.

Chrysler would most likely cast a housing with the right mount for the shifter. If it was a limited run they would have probably used a stamping.

The fabricated bracket is either homebuilt by a guy with really good fabricating skills, or by a shop producing kits for the "bolt-on" modification. There is way too much welding and fitting for that to have been made by Chrysler. Plus, the welding is too good!

I have a 71 bench seat mount, and believe me that it ain't nothing like that plunder.

That's all home/shop brewed, if it works, that's fine, if you want a stock set up it looks like this....

thanks for the input guys.maybe better off selling the shifter without the bracket.now i have to match up the linkage to something.thanks again

just found a set up like this on ebay.the mount and rods are for a hurst super shifter and/or ram rod shifter.

The reverse rod is on the 1-2 fork...
