I sold a set of 516s at the indy trade show. Got $100 for the pair. Not sure on the early set but the 902s maybe $50 for the pair.

none of these casting numbers are desirable or valuable....get for them what you can

The 516s (which I believe are closed-chambered heads) are probably the only ones that are worth the hassle of selling. If you get offered $100, you should probably take the offer.
As far as the other heads go, I'd take pretty much any offer that came my way.

I don't know. For a daily driver that has been built for fuel economy, it is hard to beat a 516 head on a 383. Just my twocents

That still doesn't make a 516 head valuable.

The 324 heads don't flow worth crap. Valuable only to restorer.

516 heads are worth $50 or so, they can be made to work but usually machine work on 40+ year old heads is cost prohibitive. For any type of HP work the aluminum aftermarket heads are the winner.

902 head, IIRC a one year open chamber head. No real value because the heads will be worth slightly less than you put into them. So spend $500 to get them rebuilt, get $400 at the swap meet.

My suggestion to you is to make him a gift but he has to take all three pairs. I have a pair of 906s and a pair of 213s that have been on a shelf for at least 20 years. If anything, over the years they have lost what value they may have had to start with.

R.

IF you can do your own head work then they may have some value but it'd still be minimal.
