!969 Charger head light trim

I watched Grave Yard Cars last week,,, Mark Workman said the 69 Charger did not have the trim that is around the head lights when the doors are up like whats is on the 68 Charger when the doors are up.. I do have them on my 69,,, is there something else different on a 69? If so, please post a picture.. Thanks

i got a pair of the 68 trim pieces sitting on the shelf i was going to put on my 69, but never got around to it. i never looked close to see if anything needs done to my car to install the 68 pieces, so i can't answer the question. i am, however, interested in the answer.

Not sure what a 68 looks like with the doors up but I can tell you my 69 looks pretty naked with they are up, only trim I remember is the retaining ring. I can double check when I get home but that'll be a few days yet.

Those is what I have,, I googled it,,, there is a difference,, those in the pic are 68, like I have.

the difference is they were used in '68 & nothing was used in '69

A 69 Grill has the holes for the screws of those bezels.
I put a set online because I had them.
I think in 69 the bean counters decided they weren't necessary
