Needs pics of 68 A-body gas tank straps installed

Hi,

I need some reference pics of a 1968 Barracuda (or Dart) with gas tank straps installed on the car in the correct location. I have a 68 Barracuda where the previous owner modified the trunk pan to use a fuel cell in the trunk. I'd like to go back to a stock tank and I'm pretty sure the stock tank straps attach to the bottom of the trunk pan under the spare. Since the previous owner modified that part of my trunk, I don't know what configuration should look like. I suspect there are 2 tabs welded to the bottom of the trunk floor. If someone could post some pics of stock tank in a 68 A-body I would really appreciate it.

Thank you! Can tell me if those brackets are also reinforced on the inside of the trunk?

They are part of the spare tire hold down bracket. There are two slits in the trunk floor for them to go through. All welded together.

You can see the slits in the well that the bracket goes through.

I still don't know why they aren't repopping the bracket and making it available with the full trunk floor!?!

Oh no, so if you buy a trunk pan from AMD the brackets are not included? ugh.

With the AMD floor the bracket is included but I don't think it is installed, not sure if the holes are already in the spare tire well, haven't actually seen one up close. Every other full trunk floor manufacturer and of course the sections do not include it.

You would think if they make it that they would sell it separately. Mine was a real PIA to find.
