Hood Springs A-Body?

Looking to lubricate the pivots and hood springs. Would you pack grease in the coil spring? What works best on the loose pivots?

Probably a drop of motor oil on the pivot points every now and then? If you use grease don't use too much as it will attract dust and that could make things worse.
