Help line out 4 speed shifter (71 charger bench seat)

All came off a 71 bench seat 4 speed car. Pistol grip levers rods and dog bone. Bought many moons ago
Car is painted now so it's going back togeather
Put the z bar in just a bit ago
Was told I had the levers on up side down. So I took them off the rods and out the 2 long flat levers on top (1-2. 3-4) short one on reverse
Now the rods will all need sorted out
Wich was should the reverse flat lever be pointing so as tranny is not in reverse? Right now I can't get them to move by hand

Looking at the transmission, the reverse tab would be at the 10 o'clock position for neutral, 2 o'clock in reverse.

Ok. First will say. Car has no starter or wiring and no driveshaft
With out any of the rods on. I can move reverse from straight up to the 10 o clock pos. I can move the lever closest to firewall from straight up to 10 o clock pos. That is 3/4 gear correct?) is so meaning I can get go into 3rd but not 4th? The other lever (1/2?) I can't get to move foward or back. All this is by hand only. I didnt pry or try force anything
Do think if could rotate the tranny by putting driveshaft in and turn by hand would move insides to could go through all gears?

The ends of the tranny I know I have like in the pic. I need see if I have them in that order mounted on the shifter
