the aspen/volare plus anything b-body related until end of production in 80-something will also work despite being around 3/8" taller, and the dire, apocalyptic "end of the world" warning that your first born child will drive a renault scenario e-burger states will end in total failure of all vehicle systems. this has been argued forever as to which spindles to use, but realistically, there will be no ball joint angle or alignment problems alluded to using the late spindles, and bump steer issues that have come up in the past only occur during extreme travel in bump and rebound. how often are you doing wheelies or crashing to earth way past the bump stops on the street ? this was addressed by an article published by [???], i forget, years ago and using the a-body spindles as the ONLY ones to use was proven to be not exactly fact. besides, the later ones are not only easier to come by, but cheaper to boot. i personally have installed over 50 sets of the later ones over the years, and not ONE has experienced a problem of any kind. with that being said, it's your car and your money. only you can make the decision on what YOU want to use. just throwing this out there for more info for you to base your decision on.
