Good Day All

Anyone have a source for metering rods/springs for a 6125S Carter AVS?

Thanks to all who respond.

Think there's a race kit for sale in the MOPARTS race parts for sale forum.

Didn't the AVSs come with 3 step metering rods while the current crop of CarterBrocks come with 2 step? Basically eliminating the cruise step?

The newer 2 step metering rod carbs have a large chart for tuning. I have never seen a chart for the 3 step rods but imagine it would be a big one.

I checked both of the above sites & no AVS strip kit that I could see. If I see one I'M gonna grab it! yes 3 step rods

if the 6125s is a factory mopar carb, then buying new stuff is long gone. the primary jets would have been the tall version with 3 step rods, neither available new.

The usual recommendation is to convert to the 2-step rods and jets.

It'd sure be nice to have a tunable 3-step system, but fuel injection would make that a question no one was asking.
