Disc Brake help needed

I have a 69 Roadrunner. Somewhere down the line someone did a disc brake conversion on the car. I do not know what they are. Trying to buy rotors but can not seem to find right ones. They are 11.75 in diameter. It appears all B, E, A bodies all use 11" rotors. Could be C body. Bought set for a 71 Fury but offset was wrong. Can anyone help me identify what I have so I can buy something?

Later B, E and (I think) A bodies used an 11.75" "unicast" rotor. Unicast meaning hub and rotor were integral. These are readily available if that is what you have. Look up a rotor for a 1978 Chrysler Cordoba. Just about any AP store should be able to get them in a couple days.

This rotor is often used in swaps and can make a good setup.

thanks for the advice. i will check with the auto parts store and see if i can get one ordered. i tried the 71 c body but the offset was wrong and it wouldnt work. hopefully the cordoba will work.

Late B only on your list. A's and E's, never, unless someone swapped them in.

C's and truck used a thicker 11.75" unicast rotor. If the rotor is 1" thick it's the late B/R body rotor. If it's 1.25" thick it's the C/truck rotor.

Compare a 78 Cordoba (B body) to a 78 New Yorker (C body) rotor specs.

Isn't there a part number stamped in the inside of the rotor?

Thanks everyone. I found my rotors. They are from a 1978 Cordoba. Fit perfectly. I wonder if/when I need calipers if it will be the same application.

Calipers have more flexibility. The adapter that connects the caliper to the spindle accounts for the increased diameter of the rotor.

Basically, there are two possible caliper types you could have, one is held to the adapter via pins (called pin type), the other sets in a machined guide in the adapter (called sliders).

Once you figure out how they are mounted then you can potentially figure out the donor, I say potentially because piston diameter will also be a factor,

Take a picture and post it on here and we'll tell you what you have. It is fairly easy to tell what the parts are from a picture.

used rotors and caliper brackets from a 75 cordoba , calipers did not fit , I like the pin type so i used 71 charger calipers 2.75 piston , i thought all b bodyies had 2.75 inch pistons

I don't know about B bodies or pin type calipers. I used sliders and diameter varies depending on donor.

Example,

73 Dart 2.6" A body
78 Aspen, 2.75" F body

Both slider types.

I'm pretty sure they do (A bodies-2.60 in 73/4/5 & went to 2.75 in '76)
