T56 hyd clutch and brake line Q's - 03/16/16 09:41 PM

Hi all I finally got my viper truck T56 yesterday and I was wondering, when it come to the hydraulic clutch, which is better to use -3an or -4an ? 5/8", 3/4" or 7/8" clutch master ? Also when it comes to brake lines and wanting to run SS braid for the short flex portion is -3an the go to size ? brakes are brembo 4 piston front and 2 piston rear off a '02 Mercedes CL500, and its all going in my '79 Volare

Thanks,
-Mike

I'm going to say -3.

For the master cylinder others will know more but in general you'd like the smallest diameter that will move enough fluid. That will get you the highest line pressure per pound of pedal force.

Save yourself time and money and put a stock SRT10 system in it OR if you can live with a remote reservoir put a Viper MS and slave in it. I have the Vipers in my truck.

EDIT: You can put the SRT master and slave OR the Viper Master and slave but you can't mix them. The line from the master is different for the different slaves. email me if you want more info. The masters come with the line so don't sweet the line size.
