The physical shape of the bumpers are the same from 70-74. I believe there may be a difference in bolt-hole positioning on different years, which would be dictated by the holes in the brackets and what bracket is used. All of the brackets and all of the bumpers will bolt to the cars, but you need to compare bolt hole positioning with the bumpers he plans to use to see if they are compatible with each other.

Unless the bumper brackets were also changed. They don't swap
We had a 74. Went to put 70 on it. Holes in the bumper are in wrong place

I put 70/71? bumpers on my 73 front brackets and 72 rear brackets. 71 bumpers don't have slots for the jack? bolted right up.

On the front 70-2 use a Y wishbone shaped bumper bracket. 73-4 uses a y one straight side with a fork bumper bracket and a heavy reinforcement plate. Bolt pattern different so use an earlier set of brackets. They make new ones AMD
