fwiw, old parts catalogs have (page)reference numbers in the back to find out what it fits

It's in the 78-81 Truck catalog Sec 5-1585 listed as a Booster cylinder (item 20) for B, CB, MB3-4 1978 only. May have other applications, this is the only Truck catalog I have at home. Hope this helps

So what does all that mean... "B, CB and... " ? military use? Maybe Dodge van...

B is van, CB and MB are what they call "compact front section". Basically, a van front end, with no body section past the front door. Like a Class C motorhome would be today.

In my experience, 70s trucks and vans used different brake boosters. Maybe they could be made to interchange, but not a direct bolt up. Gene

After a closer look, the van booster has a shorter pedal rod. Thanks for the help guys.
