Quote: is that just a package option what did it consist of? Anyone have this model?
The back seat folded forward so it would be flat, and a panel between the interior and the trunk folded down allowing much more "space" to haul long stuff like a ladder/long lumber. There were no special decals or anything.
Hatchback fold down rear seat. Space Dusters have no emblems or particular theme. It wasn't like owning a "Gold" or "Twister". The Hang 10 is a space Dart.
Yeah, it referred to the fold down back seat option/fold down into the trunk . . . could order it on any Duster . . . also, option of manual crank sunroof . . . My 1974 Duster360 has BOTH options !!
Plymouth SpaceDuster just like the Dodge Dart Sport Convertriple was a Chyrsler nickname for the 1973 A-body cars with the M52 sunroof and C73 fold down seat & trunk dress up options.
The Spacemaker package was the name for the fold down/trunk dress up C73 option.
Here's my former very rare 1973 SpaceDuster 340-4spd car.
