Brake booster rebuild? - 09/23/15 03:27 AM
There is a local parts store(Federated)that says they will take the brake booster from my '64 New Yorker and send it to Cardone for a rebuild and get it back in about two weeks. Anyone gone this route? BTW, the booster is no longer available to purchase.

Booster Dewey would probably be the better route to go from everything I have ever read here on the subject...

I have had good experiences with Booster Dewey on 2 rebuilds & would not hesitate using him again.

I ran a regular Cardone booster for a while... perfectly functional but coating and appearance was quite different vs stock.
