K frame ID

I have a hemi K frame with number 94 on the welded on chip and it has a skid plate. I believe it is for a B body, how can I tell what year B body it is for? Would this K frame fit a 70 E body?Thanks, Charlie.

"94" = 2962094 - 1970 HEMI B-body

It will bolt into an E-body BUT the steering box mounting position is at a different angle.

The engine sits differently in a E body/71 B body than a older B body K frame also.

the small changes make a ripple effect that you may or may not be able to live with, it has been done,

but with quality modified/reproductions out there (I believe Mega-Parts still offers one), I'd sell the original to someone who need$ it & get a correct piece
