Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for cleaning the melted stabilizing gel from the firewall after a voltage regulator/ecm failure? Is there a product that will help clean it up? What about using a heat gun?

Be careful with the heat. You can burn the paint off too.

No idea on cleaning up that mess.
It is part of the charm of owning a Mopar.

I thought it was called "Goof-off"? No wait! That is what I am doing now!

However, I agree with your suggestion. A gold star for you!
