Performer or Torker 2

I am building a 505 stroker from Ohio Crankshaft. I have 2 brand new intakes that I can put on it. One is a open plane and the other dual plane. The motor will have edelbrock heads (84cc). Which is better? The car will most be on the street, once in a while on the track.

Of those 2 choices, definitely the Torker 2 since this sounds like a pretty stout engine.
This is assuming the Performer manifold you have is not the Performer RPM. The Performer RPM is a high rise dual plane that works very well. The regular Performer looks almost like a stock intake and doesn't belong on anything other than a nearly stock engine in my opinion.

It is the Performer RPM.

I'd use the Performer RPM instead of the Torker 2. If the RPM isn't good enough, then I'd step on up to the Victor...that all depends on the rest of the combo though. Compression, cam, gear, torque converter?

The Torker 2 is shorter than the RPM though. So, if hood clearance is an issue...

i like an rpm airgap for that engine, but that's just me.

Hard to beat the rpm for street duty.Now if it had low gears I may suggest the Torker 2.

I did some engine dyno testing years ago on a pump gas 426 Street wedge 484 C.I. stroker motor testing a Torker 2, Mopar M1 single plane and the Eddy Performer RPM, the Torker 2 had the worst results from 2000 RPM to 6500 RPM compared to the other two intakes with the same carb, timing and jetting I like and use the Eddy Performer RPM on most of my pump gas Mopar street stroker motors now with stock 440 port sizes IHTHs Bigger carbs. made more power also, 750, 850, 950 CFM and then a custom 4150 with bigger flow numbers
