High Flow Air FIlter for 68 383-4 unsilenced aircleaner

anyone using a high flow air filter in their big block unsilenced aircleaner...besides the K&N? Is this even worth worrying about?

Also what if I use one that is 3.5 inches tall instead of 2.75"

A taller filter will help with flow , I'm not sure what is out there beside K+N .

Rock Auto has Fram Air Hog filters on closeout.They are very similar to the K&N.
