anyone help me with removal of the fuel sender from the fuel tank. The service manual says to use a tool number c-3582 spanner wrench (whatever that is) can't get it loose. thanks.

the last time I did it I used a flat headed screwdriver and an 'impact' adjustment.

I tried the screw driver route seems to be bending the tab with no movement from the wring itself.

I would say it's seized on there. soak it down with penetrating oil and give it a day.
a spanner wrench looks like this -
