67 Dart sedan: weatherstripping

67 Dart sedan: weatherstripping - 11/29/14 12:38 AM

I finally have my 67 in primer. Everything done except trunk lid.

Where is the best place to get weatherstripping for this car? I'm getting a bad feeling that sedans are hard to get parts for.

Thanks, Kevin

Unfortunately not much available other than trunk seal, hood-cowl and hood-rad.

Apologies to the OP, dont mean to hijack. Can start another thread if youd like.

Dante, is there a kit for another vehicle that can be made to fit? Anything that you know of?

Not likely as the extruded material most likely is diffent.
Do you have your original seals in decent shape? If so PM
me and I may be able to have something made for you using your originals.

I saved some from one of the front doors I believe. It may be in decent shape, the rest was pretty bad. Ill see if I can find it.

OP, do you have a build thread going on your car? I like to see cars outside the norm being built.

No, i don't. Very ordinary build. I've made a dash insert and installed aftermarket gauges. Mad electrical relays. Changed from column to floor auto shift. Disc brakes.Taken down to bare metal and epoxied and hi build primer. Looking for a trunk lid. Mine is toast.Buckets out of a 99 Z28.

Sounds cool, would love to see some progress pics of the whole process. What are you planning for the drivetrain?

The dream was a 470 based on a 400 big block. I've gathered up several blocks over the years but as I get older with less money looks like the leaning tower of power might just stay.

I've got some pics and will see if I can load em on here.
