2000 intrepid 3.5 rear main seal - 11/15/14 08:14 PM
What is involved to change the rear main seal on a 3.5 L intrepid engine
Quote:
The seal is pressed into a retainer that is bolted to the block.
New seals should come in a new retainer with a sleeve to help with installation.
Had 1 early 3.5 with excess crank end play cause a leak there otherwise not too common.
Very commen for the camshaft thrust plates on the back of the heads to leak, sometimes ALOT!
