would a 70 hemi superbird have a chrysler distributor or a prestolite??

Prestolite dual point. Auto and 4 speed had their own numbers, they were also date coded.

The one real 440 4 barrel 1970 S.B. I saw had a aluminum single point distributor with a really weird dual vacume pod on it The owner had bought it off the lot in 1971 back east, maybe Chicago It was not a CA emission car as far as I know

That would have been a 4 bbl 4 spd or auto,the car in the foreground (4 spd) has the same dist.Only the Hemi and 6 pk cars got the Prestolite.
