Build sheets - 08/27/14 02:06 PM
What's your opinion? Does a,build sheet add value to a mopar?
Quote:
Sure, but only if it's the original sheet (not a forgery), and only if it matches the VIN to the car (many sheets found in cars being from other cars).

No it won't. A buildsheet adds value to a vehicle built by General Motors. However, a broadcast sheet adds value to a Mopar. If you find a buildsheet in your Mopar throw it away immediately.

you don't own a B7 blue 69 RR Detlef
Quote:Dave, that means I can add a whole dollar to it correct?
Sure it does. How much? anywhere from $1.00 to a significant percentage of the vehicle's value.
It depends on a number of things;
- How desireable/collectible the car is
- what other documentation exists, especially the presence of a FT
- how stock the car is if it's already restored.
2 cents,
Dave
