Hurst Shifter identification - 08/25/14 01:37 PM

Picked this up yesterday to use in my 65 Coronet. Anyone have any experience with these having the reverse lock-out?

I think those came in factory Hemi superstock A-bodies. Not posotive though. I am interested in how that lockout on reverse works also.

Looks like the shifter is most likely a normal Hurst Competition Plus shifter and the reverse lockout was an option that could be purchased and added to the original shifter. I found a link to the optional reverse mechanism only.

Look for a stamped number in the Reverse (longest) lever.

Since it has stop bolts it's not factory.
