mopar e.c.u.? - 06/28/14 10:43 PM

okay I want to know whats all the big difference in mopar e.c.u, right now im running a grey one what the local parts store. my car wouldn't see to run with a blue one. IT has a mopar performance ignition im gonna order a chrome e.c.u one my car ran perfect with that right now it seems to not like to idle im gonna turn my idle speed but does that make sense?

so this is what originally happend in my car I was cruising on the highway it died had no spark got it home.I had a blue box laying around,so I instlalled it fired up quit kinda acted like a ignition switch problem only ran on cranking postion with the blue box. replaced the ignition and went bought another e.c.u and now it runs just for some reason dosnt like to idle and am gonna buy a chrome box and see how that goes.

okay, this isn't gonna go well is it? are you using a ballast resistor?

First I'd attack/fix the idle problem then see which way you want to go on the ECU's. Many options: parts house ECU. revenator. Pertronix. HEI module. MP chrome box. Just me I'd lean more toward a box/hot coil that could be run WO a ballast & push the limits a bit & carry spares
