Exhaust Tip Hangers

I have a 66 Satellite that I would like to put gtx exhaust tips on and was wondering if anyone might have pictures from a 67 and 68 gtx so I could see the difference in the hanger positions. I would appreciate any advice offered. thanks

The 67 GTX tips are angled towards the outside of the car the 68 go straight out the back like the road runner.look for the nuts welded in the frame to mount the brackets.if the car had duals with turn downs or single exhaust the hangers are different,my road runner came from the factory with turn downs but the mounting nuts for the chrome tips were there,just had to chase the threads and the mounting brackets bolted right in.hope this helps

If I'm putting 68 tips on do I need to use the 68 tip hangers or should I use the 67 hangers? I don't like the looks of the 67 tips, that's why I'm not sure of what I'm doing.

I think the hangers are the same but its the piece on the tip that goes thru the hanger that is angled on the 67's on the 68's it is straight so they will go straight out the back.
