98 2500 brakes?

Can't seem to find an answer to this question. The 2500 I just bought is a 2wd V10 with 8800gvw. All the brake pads I can find are for a 7500lb truck, are there any differences? I haven't taken the front down in fear of not being able to get the right pads and having to wait on them if I could even find them.
