conversion headlight questions

who's running the conversion headlight with replaceable bulbs. are they worh it.

i saw these;(below) they have glass lenses ( i would have to change to reg clear bulbs) why do they need to be wired to turn sigs or parking lamps.

any info would be appreciated

This is a 5001/5006 Halo low/high beam conversion kit

This kit features:

4 5 3/4" Diamond cut sealed beam conversion housings with Halo's
4 H4 Xenon HID bulbs rated at 65/55 Watts, with an output of 90/100 Watts
4 rubber covers (to keep the housings dry)
Headlights are plug and play, no rewiring is necessary
Glass Lenses
Euro Sytle Lenses
50% Brighter than stock
Halo's will need to be wired in to either parking lights, turn signals, or to a seperate switch

The headlight bulbs have turn signals in them. They may not fit your headlight buckets without some modification. A 55 watt halogen is going to be better than the stock incandescent lights.

My 5.75" Hellas were a HUGE upgrade on my Roadrunner....Stock Hella Bulbs too. Best $160 I've spent on the car.

That HID kit for $588 looks interesting.
I used regular H4 bulbs with the hella housings from here. Work great.

I agree they are pricey but incandescent light bulbs have nothing on HID's. Its litreally night and day.

there are cheaper HID's available from ebay you just need to buy the bulb housings
