wiper motor mounting stud removal

1968 A body, how do i remove the studs in the firewall that hold the wiper motor?
i want to reuse the existing holes to mount my block off plate. i tried a BFH but im afraid if warping/damage the fire wall

I cut down the studs and reused them to attach the plate.
