On a 71 Coronet is the hood the same fitment as a 71-74 Charger?Looking at it I would say yes but I would like to know for sure.

No. They have a different width and different contour-radius-design at the front above the grill.

And I would bet the charger hood is LLLOOONNNGGGGER.
