Was the performance hood treatment a shiny black paint or organisol?

I am no expert but it looked like a flat black to me. I know the Demon and Dart blackout hoods were different. Ron

Anyone else? My friend wants it right and asked me to find out for him (No he does not have a computer, there are some that still don't). What are the codes, I have done some searching but haven't found anything definitive.

good question im interested too. I would assume flat like 68/9 road runners. I read somewhere the factory painted the black first on those cars and laid the color coat after.

OK, his code is V21 (performance hood treatment), but I still can't find anything as to texture. Most but not all pictures I search have it flat. Some are shiny. Anyone know for sure?

I know it is Organisol if it is flat, but is it supposed to be flat or shiny?

If you know what Organisol is you wouldn't be asking the question. I say that not to be rude it's just a fact. It should have a textured low sheen to the surface. Flat would be a better way of saying it than Gloss in simpler terms.
Mopar didn't paint Gloss stripes say like Chevy did with a Chevelle.

Here is my Demon, although flat looking it isn't really correct.

I don't think he is asking if organisol is flat or shiny. He said in his last post "I know it is Organisol if it is flat". I think he is asking if the black part is organisol/flat or non-organisol/shiny.

There are no Mopar cars from the factory that I can think of that came with Gloss Black-Out of any kind.

This should answer the question no?

He's asking if its textured organisol or just non textured flat paint.
