JUNK as are most others IR classic auto radio and ken harris.
I have read good reviews on Antique auto radio. just purchased one of there units for a customers 69 Chevelle. Will report back tomorrow or Monday. Hang tight

If you want to keep the 100% stock look, but have 180 watts total power and aux jacks , let me know .

Just curious what is junk on them? Can the sound be all that much worse than stock? My problem is I can't bring myself to spend 500-600 bucks on a gutted new version of mine that will support my 3 speakers and give me an AUX port. Let me know on the antiques auto!

The 630 model is $229 on ebay and had USB port, aux input, bluetooh capable...

The 230 model is cheaper.

I have the Retro sound unit in my 72 Charger, I don't consider it junk. fit could be a little better but I was in a hurry too. For it to fit nicely you will have to round the edges on the face plate off a little. It sounds very good for my needs and has aux inputs for an amp if needed. I have 2 6x9 Polks and 2 3x5 Polks up front. Very happy with it.

I have this in my 73 Charger and so far no real issues. I had to experiment a little with the fitment to get it 'just right' but all in all a good unit as far as looks and sound go.

I had thought about going the upgrade/resto route on my original radio but I wanted the USB capability instead of just an AUX jack. That and those run about double what the Retro Sound runs.

Unit is tiny and light and puts out plenty of sound. I also have 2 6x9's in the rear and 2 3" up front and it can drive the hell outta them without an additional amp.

I installed one several years ago in my 71 Roadrunner. Still working good. I wanted the options of playing my music on a USB drive or SD card. This gives that option. Also, a bonus is a remote. Bottom line, you get a lot of features for the price.

I've got one of these (the 630) in my 72 Road Runner. Paired it with a dual voice coil speaker in the dash. Works just fine. Easy install. NOT blue tooth capable, but will control an Ipod, Iphone, or play MP3s through the USB.

I sent mine back for repair because it would spontaneously shut down. They could not find any thing wrong, but I later discovered my battery was going dead. Radio problem was probably just due to low voltage. Since replacing the battery, I have not had any more issues.

That was the thread that sold me on it.

That's a pretty good thread, I bought a new 4x10 and am going to get (2) 6x9 for the package tray I'm thinking this may be the best route, without spending $400-600 bucks on making my factory radio the way I want it I'll put it on the shelf and get one of these!

I put a retrosound unit in my wife's '66 Mustang several years ago, running 2 6x9's in the back and a couple small speakers up in the dash as well .. I'm VERY happy with the features and the sound

What is junk about them IMO is the sound, the overall quality and the longevity.
The requested report back on the antique auto radio is,
I'm not impressed for the cost. The sound is OK, the units are lacking on the quality IE: feel of the controls etc, and no separate bass and treble control, only a tone control, WTF are we in 1960???? For 600.00 I'm not impressed

I'll let the customer make the call on keeping it
