How Do You Calculate Cubic Inch ? - 01/19/14 01:59 AM

I am having a 360 bored .030" with a 3.580" crank. What would be the cubic inch. I would like to know how to calculate the answer so I don't have to ask again. Thanks

bore size X bore size X stroke X # of cylinders X .7854 = ci of motor

Go to United Machine web site, KB web site and click on the claculator button and then click on the cubic inch calculator and put your numbers in and then hit calculate Thats the way I do it, or use Wallace racing calculators web site, lots of choices out there

I got it. I have a How to Build Big Inch Mopar small blocks book, and it has a conversion chart on cubic inch displacement, but it's blank for the 4.030" bore and 3.580" stroke column. I find it odd that it didn't list the .030" bore but lists the .040" bore (which is 367 ci) and .060" which is 371 ci with the 3.580" stroke.
I did use the conversion calculator after I tried it the old fashion way, just to verify my answer.
Thanks for the replies.
