on a 2000 durango, 5.9 mag, the clip that attaches the fuel line to the fuel rail, what is it called?
and can you buy a new one?

is that a "quick connect" coupling ? if so, i believe the retaining clip is part of either the fuel rail or the line [ not sure which]. i could be wrong, but i think you will have to replace one or the other if that clip is missing unless you could come up with an alternative attaching method that would be safe with the pressure[s] involved.

thanks, but that doesn't return a part either.
I get the disconnect tool though. and a couple of adapters.

I actually don't have one, I tried using a hose clamp and it worked for a long while, but blew off yesterday.

so I thought I would try to find the correct connector.

Dorman makes a Double bead fuel line repair kit that has all sorts of parts and replacement fuel line. I tink it is Dorman 800-300.

thanks. don't need that size kit, but it did lead me to the one I think I need.
