So bend the friction ears?
They are delicate as this is brand new and the resto shop broke 4.
I want to try super glue on the broke ones

The clips are A LOT cheaper then the chrome inserts

Should have been more clear, they broke the pins that the clips go over.

I use a small U shaped pick.Work it under the gripping tabs.
