Ebody 8.75 rear in a B-body? - 11/13/13 04:08 AM

I have a line on a smokin deal on a 70 E-body 8.75 complete rear end, locally.

How much work/effort to get it into a 69B body?

Thanks

And ebody is wider and the mounting pads are different. Buy the ebody and sell it on Craig's list. Buy a b body and keep the profit. B's are easier to find too.

Not easy to find up here in the Great White North I tell ya....that's what I like about it..its local...complete drum to drum fresh out a car at less than $200.

I think perches are like $15.00 plus shipping, welding wire and a cutoff wheel. I am in pretty cheap.

Issue I think is that this moves the rear track width out 1.5 inches.

Will that effect handling in any way? Its just a cruiser.

You can cure that width with wheels. 2 Wheels will be cheaper than a complete rear end
