Just curious if anyone has done this yet. If so, did you have to cut the floor and enlarge the tunnel for it to fit. Im thinking about doing this and would like to know what Im in for before starting. A518 Trans in my 74 Challenger.

Guess I better check this myself because I am about to pick one up for my 67 Belevedere.

I'm building a 72 Challenger that is going to have a stout BB stroker motor. I plan to hit the strip from time to time.
I don't know anything about the A518 tranny. How strong is it?
Would it hold up to some serious HP?
Just wondering if I should think about using one of these in my build.

If built well it'll hold up to a stout daily driver. With some use at the track.
