tach in rally dash problem

My tach pegs when I turn on the ignition. any ideas?

What is this in?

Not enough info, but if this is a fresh install I would suggest that you have it wired wrong. If it has worked in the past without you making any changes the tach probably needs repair (I'd start with a new circuit board).
