New Distributor Question

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting the following distributor for my 340 Challenger what do you guys think?

What would be the pro & cons?

The price and if you have a problem or suspected problem your up the creek especially if one is out of town on a long run.
Myself I like the factory stuff as it typically works as well and is easily serviced should a problem develop
The pro's??? None I can think of unless one is into the MSD BLING

I'd suggest using any 70's SB electronic dist & adjusting the subsystems in order: initial (vac gauge method)/total (35)/ springs (stay just under the pinging point at WOT)/vac adv (2 adjustments. The real bennie is going to come from the coil/ballast/no ballast selection. I'd suggest a "Dynamod" HEI module mounted under the dist (to hide it) & an E coil & no ballast. You have many ways to go on your choice there
