73-4 B-Body Cruise Control Question - 07/30/13 02:46 AM

It appears that the washer reservoir moves from the drivers side to the passenger side when cruise control was installed - can anyone confirm this?

I'm looking to install cruise on my 73 and the washer reservoir is in the way. Any pics I found on line have the reservoir moved to the other side when cruise is on the car.

Any help and pics of where everything mounts or moves to (like the washer lines and wiring) is appreciated.

You are correct here. The cruise control cars have a different style bottle that is located away from the cruise control servo assembly. I think this bottle is more cube-ish than the normal bottle.

The standard bottle you have will not work unless you are going to to make it work. I don't know if it is repro'd (doubtful) so you may wish to post an ad looking for one here.

Good luck!

Do you have any pictures of the cube-ish reservoir? My parts book only lists one part number and doesn't mention differences with cruise.

Thanks

Thank You!

Wonder why my parts book doesn't list it.
