2012 300S without Nav system??????

Just bought this car used with 15 k kilos on it . It has the big display in the dash but no Nav system .
My question is .....if I can find a display system from another 300s with Nav system , can I just change out the unit or is there a lot more work and things to add in order for the new system to work ????/

You may or may not have the proper wiring harness in the car.
I'm fairly certain you will not have the antennas and electronics in the trunk to deal with the nav unit.

Thats what I was thinking Kevin but the car has all the bells and whistles but Nav so maybe the wiring harness is the same for all and have the plugs in place and its sort of a plug and play type deal and you need nothing more than the other display with the Nav system . I doubt if any of the techs at the dealership would know any more about it than me and you .

you need a different head unit, IIRC an RB5. the head unit is located behind the climate controls and has the DVD drive and SD card reader in it. you should have all the harness and wiring, as all 8.4" equipped LX's have sirius radio standard. you'll just need the head unit, plug it in, and you may have to take it to a dealer to activate it with starscan. search LXforums.com, chargerforums.com or chargerforumZ.com for more details.
