Edelbrock 440 rpm on 452 heads

Is this a do-able combo considering the intake is for non egr? My concern isn't emissions legality, just compatibility.
Any blockoffs needed?

I found one still in the box at an estate sale this past weekend. Couldnt pass it up for $50! Bought some other odds and ends rb parts for too cheap...
Am putting together a 440, using 452 heads with basic port cleanup, comp xe268h cam, and now the intake and looks like new electronic distributor....going in my 84 swb truck....

I run the RPM on my 77 440 with peanut plug 452 heads,q-jet on an open adaptor on top of that. I used the felpro 1215 with heat blocked off,with the 4 paper gaskets.

woke the ol 440 smog motor right up with a carb/intake swap only in my 88 shortbed. lots of torque with it.

soon to have the whiplash cam in it.
