Tire Size 275X60X15

As the post says, I am ready to buy some new tires for my Challenger. I have 15 X 8 rallye's with the standard backspace of 4.5" and had 255 60 15's and sold them months ago without the thought of going with a bigger tire. Does anyone know if the 275 60's fit with stock Suspension? I remember having at least 1/2" to the leaf spring but not sure about the rest. Thanks in advance..

Just trying to help: Your 255 60 15 was 10.2 inches wide sidewall to sidewall. The diameter was 27.24". A 275 60 15 will be 11" wide at sidewall. Diameter will be 28.2".

I have 275/60-15 on my Cuda, with that same size wheel, stock suspension. This is the only picture I have right now. The tires are really close to the springs, but have never touched anything in the last 5 years that I have had it running.

My brother has a '71 Challenger with stock suspension and 15X7? Ralleye rims and BFG 275/60/15's out back...don't
know what his backspacing is..but he has no issues
at all with those tires.

should fit fine. Pretty much the standard tire run on E and B body mopars.. (68-up)
