Does anybody know the height difference between a Holley street dominator and a Mopar M1 single plane? for a 440, Thanks.

Well I have a m1 single plane on a 69 charger and can not use any spacer under the carb it's to close the hood.
I had to order a 1.5" drop base and use a 1.5" filter to with KN extreme top to make it just barely fit under a stock hood and have a air cleaner on it.
Also tried a 1/2" spacer under carb hood would hit vent tubes, this is with 850 Mighty Demon Carb.
The SD is more like a Torquer height so you should be able to use a 1/2" to 1" spacer most i have seen do.

Bump,
have the m1 with a adapter and a 1050 on last 10 years, I need about an 1 1/2" for a air cleaner, so I can put in back on the street, Dont want a dominator flange intake unless its a ch440 and I havent seen one in years. Thought I would buy a street dominator if it would help.

All I can tell you is the Street Dominator is a good intake and is not as tall as the M1. Ron

According to a 1998 Year One catalog, the SD is 7/8" taller than stock and the M1 is 1-7/8" taller than stock 4-barrel manifold. This is for the 440.
