Can someone help me to find out where I need to look on this 4sp to know what year it is and what it came out of?

Give me the casting number on the tailshaft extension housing, and I should be able to ID it for you. Bellhousing is 1965-69 big block, uses 130 tooth flywheel.

The bellhousing is also the one used on 67-69 383 Darts and Barracudas!

I have a 4 speed that came from a I believe 69 RR.Guy pulled it and it sat in my buddys shop for probally 25 years.I often wonder if the car is still around and in the area.Ill have to get nos and post them.Wayne my bell I bought for my 65 was a 143 from a 69 GTX.I also should have the OE one from my 65 BB car.Rocky

Does the tailhousing have one mount or 2 ? if one is it right behind the maincase ... B body , or behind the trans mount pad , A body ?
On the pass side of the trans there will be a flat machined pad with numbers , what's stamped on it ?
