360 Magnum oil filter

Gonna sound like a dumb question but,,,,
I pulled the 360 out of my 71 Dart to have it rebuilt. It's done and ready to be picked up but last year I changed the oil (only time before I blew it up) and remember having problems with the filter. Had to go to the parts store for a smaller one and unfortunately I didn't keep it or the info. The pump is primed and ready to fire but I don't want to try and drop in the motor until I'm sure I have the right filter. So, any idea the smallest proper filter for a 360 magnum in a Dodge Dart??

No clue, but maybe you could look up the "correct" filter, and measure the threads and the diameter, then look for a shorter filter that has the same diameter/thread size.

Try a PL14670 Purolator filter

The short filter is # 1068 Napa Gold which is made by Wix.
